Shalosh is a genre-blending trio from Jerusalem that fuses jazz with rock, classical, electronic, African, and Middle Eastern influences. Their raw, emotional, and progressive sound challenges traditional jazz norms while maintaining the classic piano trio format. Founded in 2014 by pianist Gadi Stern and drummer Matan Assayag, later joined by bassist David Michaeli, the group quickly gained international recognition. Their albums, including „The Bell Garden“, „Rules of Oppression“, and „Tales of Utopia“ (released on the prestigious ACT label), have received critical acclaim and millions of streams. Known for their powerful live performances and anti-war message, Shalosh continues to tour globally, with a new album due in late 2025.
